There are 14 different varieties of Toshimon, and each kind has unique advantages and disadvantages. In Toshimon, the main gameplay feature is two trainers engaged in head-to-head combat. Each trainer selects five Toshimon for their team, along with any additional items they may choose to bring, before the match. Then, each trainer sends out one Toshimon, and the two engage in combat by choosing one of their Toshimon’s three available moves. Any Toshimon whose HP reaches 0 is removed from the fight. By obtaining the necessary Toshimon cards from secondary markets like OpenSea and Rarible, players can enhance their characters. In addition to the 151 Toshimon of the First Generation, there are wearable cosmetics, in-game goodies, and Toshimon Move Modules (TMMs). Each sort of card has a variable rarity, with some being significantly rarer than others. The use of in-game items, such as potions that increase stats or heal damages, is necessary to play the game.
