Kryptomon

Players need to care for, train, and breed Kryptomons to become the best Kryptomon trainer in the world. Every Kryptomon has a unique but partially mutable genetic code made up of 38 different parameters that will determine everything from its visual appearance to its prowess in combat. A Kryptomon can be born belonging to two elemental families. Elemental families can belong among the 8 different elemental gene values. Kryptomons need some care and attention just like real-life pets. Unattended Kryptomons will “freeze” and “unfreezing” them will require the use of special items purchasable by KMON.

Kryptomon battles are a 1 vs 1 turn-based strategy, where the player’s wits and knowledge will play no small part in allowing them to vanquish stronger opponents. Before the battle, 3 Kryptomons will be chosen by the trainers for Team Battle and only 1 Kryptomon for the Duel Battle. Each Kryptomon has access to 4 different actions consisting of 1 physical attack and 3 elemental spells. Kryptomons learn more powerful attacks and spells as they level up. Players need an understanding of the opponent’s Kryptomon in order to strategize the victory.
