Players use Kaiju to build a deck of cards that they bring with them into a dungeon battle. As they progress through the dungeon, they unlock new cards that they can add to their deck. The game’s design aims to provide endless synergies and strategies for experienced players, while being simple for new players to approach initially.

Genesis Quests is an idle gameplay module within the Kaiju Cards universe, which takes place in a tavern where players meet NPCs who offer quests and rewards. Completing these quests will reward players with $GEMS, the game’s utility token. The $GEMS can be used to purchase equipment, upgrade cards, and more. Players can send as many characters as they want on a quest, but they must be sent at the same time. Characters can repeat quests as many times as they want, and there are no limits on how many characters can embark on the same quest simultaneously.

The Sword Forge is the latest major update to Kaiju Cards, where players can purchase Genesis Swords in exchange for $GEMS. To use the Sword Forge, players need to deposit $GEMS into Good Earth, which they can earn through Genesis Quests. The $GEMS earned in Genesis Quests will be available for use in the Sword Forge. Players can then take the $GEMS they have in their wallet and deposit them into Good Earth within the Sword Forge to purchase a Genesis Sword.
