Guild Saga is a 2D fantasy RPG (role playing game) set on Solana Blockchain. The game offers its players an isometric perspective and a classic turn-based, strategic, heavily combat style inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, Divinity: Original Sin, and Pillars of Eternity. Players will enter the Guild Saga metaverse with their Guild hero NFTs (non-fungible tokens). These characters can be customized with their skin tones, hair styles, eye colors, and equipment. New combat skills and equipment that will give characters stat buffs can be obtained by the players as they go through the game.

The game offers three unique modes which are story, gauntlet, and PVP. Every game mode allows players to earn XP, as well as digital collectibles and SPL currency through task completion and participating matches with the objective of winning it. Players can also use these XP and SPL currency earnings in upgrading new skills, weapons, crafting, and other in-game features. The Story Mode lets players team up with up to 4 players to take on the journey of exploring through an open world where they can encounter other characters, obtain unique equipment, acquire new skills, finish side quests, beat dangerous enemies, solve more puzzles that will challenge their strategy and more.

Battles in Guild Saga will be turn based and players must take action and movement gauge into consideration before making a move. A character will be able to move depending on its corresponding Movement Points (MP) and each of its actions will cost them Action Points (AP).
