Fancy Birds is a game created by Fancy Studios, featuring 8,888 birds with unique features. The objective is for the birds to race and compete to earn their spot as the fanciest bird in the nest and claim the Treehouse Trophy. Players can play the game for free, but they will need to own a bird (either a genesis bird or baby bird) to enjoy more benefits such as completing quests, competing on leaderboards, battling it out in tournaments, and earning in-game currency ($FNC). The game also includes other modes such as Fancy Birds: Sky Wars and Fancy Hop.

Leaderboards are a feature in the game that tracks the players’ progress and rewards them based on their ranking. There are two types of leaderboards: tournament leaderboards and season-only leaderboards. The highest rank is awarded to the player with the highest points, and those who reach the top 15% will receive cash rewards. Each bird needs to consume Fancy Seeds to earn $FNC from quests, and seeds can be bought in the marketplace for 0.3 USDC or sFNC/ETH equivalent.

The game has different quests that players can complete to earn $FNC. There are three daily quests for each game mode and two weekly quests for each bird, and completing them can earn players up to 12 $FNC per day per bird. Baby Birds can also earn $FNC, but their earnings are capped at 200k $FNC per day, divided evenly based on quest completion percentages. In-game $FNC is earned by completing daily/weekly challenges and from tournament earnings, and it is equal to $FNC. sFNC is pegged to $FNC value as long as it’s used in-game for breeding, crafting, name changes, etc.
