The nations in Ember Sword are Solarwood, Sevrend, Duskeron, and Ediseau. Solarwood, with an academy as the center, is where the great minds of Thanabus seek knowledge. SevRend is where alien beasts and carnivorous fauna live wildly. Duskeron is a wide desert where automatons and unholy beasts reside. Ediseau holds the seat of power for the Republic.

Players in Ember Sword can engage in PVP combat, take on challenging bosses, and join guilds to participate in large-scale battles. Ember Sword implements a classless combat system, which allows players to construct their own unique set of abilities unlocked by their respective weapons. Players will not be bound into just a single playstyle as they can freely switch weapons, changing their abilities in the process. Lands can also be purchased in this game. Land varies from Regular plot, Settlement Plot, Town and City. Each land has their own functions and resource generation capacities. It also unlocks different aspects of the game world.
