Derby Stars NFT Game

Derby Stars is a play-to-earn horse racing game built on Polygon blockchain where players can earn both of their Governance Token, $RUN, and Utility Token, $CRT. Players are allowed to breed their own horses and train it to enhance its racing performance. Once a player ranks first in a race, a lot of rewards awaits them. A special food can be fed to the horses to bring out their unique abilities during training and PvE races.

Horses can be obtained by either purchasing or breeding. There are certain unique horses that cannot be acquired through breeding. Players can breed their horses as many times as the reflected breeding counts per horse. The characteristics of the offspring depend on its parents. Each horse has five major stats – Speed, Power, Stamina, Grit, and Intellect which all can be improved through training.

The game offers modes such as PvE and PvP competitions. PvE is a gamemode where players can train for PvP races. During races in this mode, various information about your horses including ranking, skills use, and debuffs. On the other hand, during PvP mode, players participate in a match with other racers. Every race requires an entry fee and features different rules and number of participants. The PvP menu offers two sections: Competition Registration and Competition Broadcast. Derby Stars offers not just straight tracks for the race but stadiums that are inspired by real racetracks. Each competition held in a stadium has different distances – Short Distance, Mile, Medium Distance, and Long Distance.
