Cats & Dogs is a pet simulation blockchain game that integrates the play-to-earn (P2E) concept. Players will take care of their digital pets by providing their needs. The owner’s love for its pets will gain them income. Pets can be used in participating in a Charm Contest where they will be showing off their tricks to charm the judges and earn the gold medal. There is also a Pet Room for pets that they can use to have their pets’ leisure time. Participating in a contest and the way an owner treats his/her pet will determine their place on the Ranking Board.

The gameplay of Cats & Dogs revolves around the players, as the owners, providing care and attention to their pets through feeding them or taking them out to play. The happiness and healthines of their pets will give them rewards. Each pet will grow as the time goes by – from a Puppy or Kitten, to a Teen, and later on an Adult. As they get older, new features, cosmetics, tricks, and access to exclusive games and events will be unlocked. Cats & Dogs also offers Mini-games aside from Charm Contest such as Frisbee Catch, Obstacle Race, and Pet Ranking where pets and pet owners can participate in.

The Sunshine Valley, which is the town where the pets live, consists of various land types which are Wilderness, Sun Meadow, and Paradise Field with different values of Common-Tier, Mid-Tier, and High-Tier respectively. Players can choose to own any of this land. Purchased lands will provide them with different functionalities such as Commissions, Upgrades, and more.
