The gameplay of Aavegotchi revolves around collecting, training, and battling with your Aavegotchis. Here is a quick rundown of different aspects of the game. First, collecting aavegotchis, you can collect aavegotchis by purchasing them using GHST tokens in the marketplace. Each aavegotchi has its own unique traits that make them different from each other. Second, Training aavegotchis, you can level-up your aavegotchis by earning XP through mini-games and quests. Third is the Aarena, inside the Aarena, aavegotchis can battle each other for glory, and especially the rewards. There is also the Gotchiverse, where you can gather alchemicas namely FUD, FOMO, ALPHA, and KEK.

These alchemicas have their own monetary value. Aavegotchi’s main token is GHST, which is intended to be used as the base ecosystem currency to purchase various on-chain Aavegotchi assets. Aavegotchi is governed by AavegotchiDAO, which manages all funds generated through the distribution of GHST tokens. You can also stake your GHST to earn GAX Liquidity Token Reward (GLTR). The primary purpose of GLTR is to speed up crafting and upgrade of installations by burning them, this way, players can level up in the game faster while helping the game to have a balanced economy.
