Players must carefully select their forces before sending their army into battle. There will be 40 cards in each of the player’s decks. Each unique card in your deck may only appear three times. Certain cards are legendary and a player’s deck can contain a maximum of six such cards. The cards are classified as either combat-ready creatures or spells that will surprise your opponents upon casting. The 9Tales metaverse offers 9 races of cards and there can only be a maximum of two different races present in each player’s deck.

The 9Tales NFT offers are categorized into different generations: Primordial, Genesis, Phase 1, and Phase 2. The first three one is classified depending on their rarity. There are three kinds of rarity which are common, rare, and legendary. The Phase 2 9Tales NFT will possess a different rarity system. The rarity is determined based on the number of available rare traits of an NFT. Each NFT can have either legendary or rare traits of Armor, Pauldrons, Headgear, Shield, Weapon, and Back (available as rare trait only).
